Berico delivers these results through our finely tuned Agile methodology shown in the process flow below.  Based on industry best practice Agile processes, our approach includes 3-5 weeks sprints coupled with 1 week retrospective and planning activities.  Our methodology is “truly agile” with results being delivered visibly to the user every 4-6 weeks.    Leveraging our own integration of leading-edge planning and code management tools, our talented team prioritizes to focus on what matters most to the user. 

Our development process starts with analyst interviews that help our development team capture the current user experience and their specific requirements.  Use cases that outline the functional requirements of the user are built, followed by individual user stories, which focus on specific pain points and ideal requests.  Working with our partners, the requirements are then prioritized, and sprint planning begins.  The goal of each sprint is to create a quality, tangible deliverable for our partners, specifically their users, to review and assess.  During sprint planning, technical tasks are assigned to each of our engineers, derived from each user story.  Code is written, tested, and certified, and can be displayed in an interactive instance to gain user feedback.  Upon final completion of development, the solution in then deployed.

Antiquated methodologies like Waterfall or Spiral development engage the end user infrequently around long development cycles.   Berico’s dynamic Agile process embeds the end user throughout each stage of development and ensures consistent alignment between our solution and your requirements.  The most unique aspect of our approach is in pairing our Analysts or Operational experts with our own developers.  Because those members of our own team deeply understand the user environment, we can engage your users in the most efficient way possible, and when it really matters.  Our clients aren’t burdened with developers that are “starting from scratch” to understand the user environment, because they have the benefit of working closely with Berico functional experts from the start.
